College Works to Reaffirm Middle States Accreditation
In fall 2019, SUNY Oswego began a highly engaging two-year process of preparing to reaffirm its national accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) through a Self-Study evaluation that will conclude in the 2021-2022 academic year.
SUNY Oswego’s accreditation was last reaffirmed and commended by MSCHE in November 2017 after the college’s successful completion of the Periodic Review Report. SUNY Oswego has been accredited by MSCHE since 1950.
Currently over 70 SUNY Oswego faculty and staff, including many of whom are also alumni, are serving on the college’s Self-Study steering committee and MSCHE Standards-aligned subcommittees.
