Marketing and management professor Sarfraz Mian and two co-editors, Phillip Phan and Wadid Lamine, take a global view of business incubation in a new book, Technology Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation: Theory, Practice, Lessons Learned (Imperial College Press of London, 2016). The book uses case studies to describe how technology business incubators by any name—accelerators, science parks, maker spaces—have evolved and gained traction as economic development drivers around the world.
