Mark Wegerski ’77 is an equine chiropractor to the stars of horse racing, and counts American Pharoah as one of his many high-profile clients. American Pharoah became the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years when he won the Belmont Stakes in 2015.
Chiropractic care is critical for the sport’s high-performance subjects, ensuring they are pain free with proper gait and posture. Wegerski lives in Lexington, Ky., where he continues to provide care for recent retiree American Pharoah, as well as many other horses who appear in the highest of winner’s circles.
