The Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame inducted former Oswego State great Greg Wilson ’68 into its Class of 2017 on May 21 during a reception in Troy, N.Y.
Wilson still holds a prominent place in the Laker record books, including highest scoring average in a single season (28.0) and rebounds in a game (31 at Utica on Jan. 30, 1968). The two-year member of the Oswego varsity team concluded his career easily averaging a double-double by scoring 24.2 points per game to go along with 16.5 rebounds per contest. He appears in several other top 10 program career, season and game lists for the Lakers.
