Jim Russell ’83
Sahar Rajput ’17 of Scotia, N.Y., student president of Community Services, recently earned a Newman Civic Fellowship in recognition of her commitment to community service and campus-community partnerships. She was one of only 273 people selected for the honor by the Campus Compact. Rajput, a communication and social interaction major with minors in psychology and business administration, will attend an annual conference, this year scheduled for Nov. 17-18 in Boston, and will have access to scholarships and a network of past honorees and others focused on building campus-community partnerships to address public problems and build equitable communities.
