Your Date for the Garcia show is wrong. He played there in 1980 and 1983. I have posters from both shows
Good looking out, Brian. I stand corrected! Thanks to the magic of the Interweb, I’ve put Jerry in his rightful place
Cheers and thanks for reading!
I believe John Hall played solo and it was not Orleans unless he did both.
The Outlaws played in I think 1977.
Pat Metheny played in 1981.
Didn’t Hot Tuna play in 1972 as well?
Anybody have a list of concerts/shows after 82? I saw a comedy act there in 1988 (I think, could have been 87 or 89), and I cannot remember who it was – It is driving me crazy!

Hi, Just to let you know, I am trying to get The David Bromberg Big Band to play at this year’s reunion, at the Old City Hall, still working out the details.
I was on the concert committee and was the dressing room door attendant for the Gregg Allman Band. He was very quiet but very pleasant and smelled of something I wish I was smoking!
Ah but you all miss the great concerts for the freshman week in 1967, Look it up. The concerts in the 60s were the best. During those years we had the Doors, Sly and the Family Stone, Judy Collins, Simon and Garfunkel, Four Tops, Jay and the Americans, wide variety but some great shows.
I attended Oswego in 1977 and what I remember about Steve Martin was that he came on during a blizzard and he thought his agent told him he was playing “sunny” Oswego.
I love reliving those glory days! Don McLean is listed as performing in 1973. That might be true, but he was also the opening act for Melanie in 1970. I remember because I MC’d the show! I just retired and am finally documenting all the artists I interviewed at Oswego and around Central New York at that time and I’m up to 24 of them! Rock on!
I hitchhiked up from Syracuse in a blizzard to see that show. November 15, 1970
Saw Tommy James and the Shondells in the Hewitt Ubion Ballroom in the fall of ’67. Also Judy Collins had a concert in the fall of ’67 in the old gym (same place that the Doors played). The American Breed (Bend Me Shape Me) played at orientation in September of ’68.
Not sure of the exact year but I saw Three Dog Night , The Four Seasons and Louis Armstrong at Oswego. I didn’t see their names noted in the line up.
