Join the Oswego Alumni Book Club
In its effort to nurture connections between alumni and to support lifelong learning, the Oswego Alumni Association announced the creation of the Oswego Alumni Book Club.
Members of the SUNY Oswego community are invited to join the free online book club and facilitated discussion forum, which was launched in partnership with the Professional Book Club (PBC) Guru in spring 2021.
The book club brings together Oswego alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to read and discuss some of the hottest titles in fiction, professional development, personal growth, nonfiction and other genres.
The book club connects through a private forum where all participants can discuss the current book and network with each other. Joining is completely free; participants just have to get a copy of the book to enjoy.
A facilitator from PBC Guru manages the online forum and prompts discussion by posing questions and sharing related articles.
Members of the Oswego Alumni Book Club will vote between several selections to choose the book to be read. A new book will be introduced approximately every two months. PBC Guru also hosts conversations with the authors for many of the selections.
To learn more and to join the book club, visit pbc.guru/oswego. Registration is free.
