The Oswego State women’s soccer team has been named a Team Academic Award winner by the United Soccer Coaches. With a combined 3.13 grade point average, the Oswego team was recognized for its exemplary academic performance during the 2016-17 academic year. The team also earned the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Gold Award for the 2017 season for exhibiting fair play and adherence to the rules of the game.
The women’s swimming and diving team was named an NCAA Division III Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America for earning an overall combined team GPA of 3.29 in the fall. In 18 semesters over the past nine years, the Lakers have been named a Scholar All-America team 15 times.
